We're live! We turned it on July 11th. We're in the middle of building edit/delete functions for classifieds, videos, and events. If you're going to post stuff, I'd recommend signing up for the free membership first since edit/delete will require you to be signed in.
If you're just going to be posting restaurant reviews (or reviews of *anything*) or commenting on videos and events, signup isn't quite as important.
For updates on development or to make comments on stuff, go to http://www.naperthrillblog.com.

A little Naperthrill history
Back in the fall of 2001, I started Naperthrill.com with my brother and a friend who, at the time, was just beginning to become a kick-ass programmer. It was meant to be a city guide that people in and around Naperville would use to find stuff to do and all that. Well, the version that I built with my engineer friend was absolutely terrible!! My fault, not my engineer's. Even the logo is ridiculous! Ugh, what was I thinking.
We made a half-assed effort at promoting the site but then some stuff happened and I wound up leaving the country for 3 years. No, I wasn't running from the law, but if I find myself in that position someday I don't think anyone will be shocked :)
So anyway, now I'm rebuilding the website! Wanna help me? I think I know what people want in a local website, but since I'm usually wrong about everything I'm soliciting opinions. Here's what we've done lately:
- Revamped the business directory (yellow pages)
- Revamped the Restaurant section
- Added videos
- Added classifieds
- Added event calendar
More is in the works, but I don't want to give away all of our surprises just yet - you never know who's reading this.
If you have suggestions for what info/services we should offer in the future, please let me know!
