Napoka Iria 2005. urte aldera sortu zen Ander eta Mirenek musika elkarrekin konpartitzea erabaki zutenean. BI kitarra akustiko eta ahotsaz baliatuz Euskal Herriko ahalik eta eszenatoki, areto eta taberna gehien zapaltzen hasi ziren. Dagoeneko hiru urte pasa dira zuzeneko akustiko haietatik eta egun Napoka Iria izaera propiodun taldea dela esan daiteke. Kantuak lasaiak bezain progresibo eta rockero egiten ditu bikote honek. Hartara, zuzeneko emanaldiak berezi egiten saiatzen dira, ikutu handia emanez eta intentsitatearekin jokatuz. 2007an euren lehenengo maketa kaleratu zuten sei kantu propioz osatua eta orain euren lehen LPa kaleratzeko lanean ari dira.

Nunca antes la sencillez de dos guitarras había expresado tanto. NAPOKA IRIA se creó hacia el año 2005 cuando Ander y Miren decidieron compartir su música. Con la ayuda de dos acústicas y voz comenzaron su viaje musical por todo el País Vasco. Más de tres años de conciertos en directo han reforzado al grupo que, a día de hoy, es más que sólido. Su música puede transmitir calma y serenidad, o bien puede transportarte a un terreno más rockero y progresivo. Todo esto combinado con mucho tacto se resuelve en un interesante e intenso concierto. Artistas de renombre como Kokein y Nueva Vulcano han compartido escenario con la pareja artística. En 2007 publicaron su primera maqueta compuesta por seis temas propios. Este año lo van a aprovechar para meterse en el estudio y lanzar el primer LP.

No one had ever imagined that the simplicity of two guitars could express so much. NAPOKA IRIA was created in 2005 when Ander and Miren decided to share their music. Helped by two acoustic guitars and voice, they began their musical travel playing all around the Basque Country. More than three years of live concerts gave the group the strength they were looking for, and nowadays, Napoka Iria's live performance is solid enough to surprise the audience. Their music reaches calmed and sensitive atmospheres but can also be progressive and rocker. It all makes their concerts even more interesting and amusing. Well-known bands such as Kokein and Nueva Vulcano have shared stage with the artistic couple. In 2007 they released their first short play composed by six songs. This coming year will be perfect to get into the studio and record their first LP.

2003年、AnderとMirenによってバスクで結成されたデュオ、Napoka Iria(ﾅﾎﾟｶ ｲﾘｱ)。３年間バスクを中心にツアーを行い、その間に特別な音が生まれたという彼ら。２つのアコースティックギターと声のみで
構成されている楽曲は、シンプルだが前衛的で、近未来のROCKといった趣を感じる。特に、女性ヴォーカルのMirenの歌声は、繊細な中にも力強さ
があり、心に響く存在感を備えている。今回初来日のNapoka Iriaだが。LIVEでは、敏感でセンシティヴな音色と、プログレッシヴでロッカーズな彼らの世界に引き込まれていくだろう。
