About me:
I am the creator and publisher of NappyKitchen.com. This is a simple guide to nappy hair care at home. It contains step-by-step hairstyling instructions, homemade hair recipes, and natural black hair care myths and truths.
The purpose of the site is to educate THE PLANET about how to care for napptural hair (natural hair) of African descent at home.
A great friend once told me to STOP apologizing for who I am. Another great friend once told me to CELEBRATE who I am.
I have been natural since 2004. I have had some reactions that were very positive and some that were very negative. The last 3 years have been a journey of self discovery and appreciating the gifts that the Creator has given me. This has been a journey that has taught me to be myself -- without apology.
