What I do

My role as an internet marketer is firstly to make money by monetising my blog sites and selling mass market products to a chosen demographic and secondly to teach other people how to do the same.

My background as a university lecturer and freelance trainer had already taught me that there's no such thing as 'get-rich-quick'.

Hence when I decided to learn about internet marketing I made the committment to invest 3 years learning the ropes - ie the equivalent time required to take a degree in marketing at university.

In contrast as I studied and learned from some fantastic mentors I watched in shock and disbelief as apparently ordinary sane people effectively flushed their life savings down the drain by joining one so-called 'sure-fire' scheme after another.

I have listened to seemingly endless sob stories about how much money someone has lost on PPC or how many hours per day they spend on social media trying to get a few individuas to visit their web sites.

What's it all about?

Internet marketing is about 2 things - traffic and conversions.

Firstly, you have to target the right traffic for the products or services you are trying to sell. And secondly you have to take that traffic to a page that quickly converts them from being a visitor to being a buyer.
