The Narrows Center for the Arts is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization. The 280-seat facility hosts high-quality, national and local performing and visual artists, musicians, writers and performers.
Located in Fall River, Massachusetts' waterfront district, The Narrows Center for the Arts is on the top floor of an attractive old mill building with spectacular views of Fall River's pier, Braga Bridge and Battleship Cove. The Center' s wonderfully sunlit space provides superb acoustics,creating the perfect ambiance for events and programs. The space is divided into 4 areas: The Narrows Gallery, the Performance Area, the Narrows Cafe and the Resident Artist Studios.
MISSION
To promote and develop an appreciation of the visual arts and the performing arts. To create and develop an artistic and cultural center for the benefit of the public at large and the citizens of Fall River, Massachusetts.

Jeri Kozak did a great job as the feature yesterday at The Narrows Open Mic. This Sunday , Dec 13 the feature will be the band Slow Drive. Open Mic is 4-8.
The Narrows open mic went great yesterday. Thank you, to everyone who showed up to play and to those who helped run everything. Your help is appreciated and welcomed. This Sunday, Nov 1, the open mic is back with Mark T Small as the feature act. The whole thing starts at 4 and Mark goes on around 6 followed by a jam until the end. All intruments welcome.
The open mike at The Narrows should be re-opening on Sunday , Oct 18 from 4-8. That's right the day and time will be changing and I will be hosting and doing sound and whatever else needs to be done. If you have questions, send me a note. Hope to see everyon e on Oct 18.
7/29/09: i’ve finally reached escape velocity and busted orbit - heading back north to finally play again at this great venue - yeah, great: great folks, great sound, great stage, great building.
