Bio
Edgy Indie-Folk with authentic and kick-ass songs, Naseby Crossing have been described as infuriatingly brilliant, mesmerising, 'unsettling in this steady folk world'. Northampton UK-based, Tim Kirby, Steve Droy and Clare Marshall are Naseby Crossing. Edgy indie/roots and folk, authentic soulful songs celebrating past and future lives. Naseby Crossing have just completed our first EP 'Sailorman'. Presenting a mature, cohesive body of work, Naseby Crossing's songs draw on folk, roots and melodic influences. Recurrent themes of identity loss, time and migration become apparent. Socially-aware, and community-orientated, the songs don't just gnaw over the bones of life's injustices, but present a modern and progressive solution for the 'brand new plan'. Naseby Crossing's primary aim is not just to entertain people - throw into the mix good musicianship, and a light-hearted, warm delivery of the set while we tell our stories. We want people to leave our shows thinking 'yes - that was a damn good band with something to say'. Guitarist Steve Droy sums up the Naseby Crossing vibe: “We've thirty world class folk songs and tunes written this last 18 months. We've only had time to record the early ones. There's quite a backlog really. Dozens other tried out and discarded. Paddy Blow In gets people singing the chorus immediately - "I'm just an English caricature, of the Irish Way" - although the song is about the universal immigrant. “We know what audiences want - entertainment, thought, the funnies. We tick all those items. And we get asked back! “And my compatriots? Tim tells the stories and sings from the heart. Clare is feisty and graces every stage with her vocals, presence and song." -

Thank you so much, I believe that the last commenter before me is correct. However, you may be able to draw parallels between the path tread by the English folk singer - who could see dearths for years and experience the neglect of an unaware public. Things do seam to run in circles at times, so it appears with this webservice as well. In any regard, thanks for the addition - I'll hold out in this empty neighborhood over my way - with so many of my own friend's profiles vacant - however, keep the candle burning there. JJ
Peace! ......hope all is good with you.....myspace appears empty....meet us at www.sheedyfrost.co.uk and leave us a message in our Guestbook (Talk To Us).....We'll get back to you...Have a great week!
Dear friends of celtic-rock,
we're happy to announce our new promotion and networking offer 2011.
Our first goal is to make celtic music visible in Germany and so we search contact to bands, promoters and organisers from all over the world. Our new brochure describes our promotion possibilities and direct contacts to our team members who are responsible for magazine, radiostation, video-channel and our diary of events.
Please find the brochure in an English and German version on our website at:
http://www.celtic-rock.de/kontakt/promotion
It would be terribly nice, if you forward this information to other interested people in your business environment.
Hope you enjoy it and don't hesitate to contact us.
Best wishes
Daniel
