Hip Hop has been every moment of my life for longer than I can remember, as far back as Dana Dane’s song Nightmares, Ice T’s 6 in the morning and the power album, Slick Rick, Public Enemy, KRS, Special Ed, Run DMC, Rakim, Guru, and you know-- those are my guides and goals when I do music, to do something new, something that has not been done before. Most new artists don’t understand, to take hip hop back is a cliché, the successful rappers of the old school do not want their sound to return to the top of hip hop and surface. I understand this, the important thing to do is create and never try to retrace. .... Born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised there until the age of fourteen, I was brought to the hood of south central Los Angeles a few months before the Rodney King riots. At the time Ice Cube had it locked down and I wouldn’t turn my radio off. But I did not get involved until high school, free styling busting and taking respect, shortly after graduating to the local hip hop clubs and open mic life, project blow ,the good life, the dragons den etc. It became a part of me, a way to not only tell my story, but make music that inspired others to do the same. I joined forces with a group of artists from LA that felt the same and we formed ‘Prowler Entertainment’. Being one of its Pioneers is a great opportunity, its rewarding to play both positions as artist and part owner. I have recently released the single “2010” and it is now available on iTunes. ....
