From a John Steinbeck "Grapes Of Wrath" type beginning to being one of the most respected Independent Record Producers in Nashville, Lonnie Ratliff has a trademark country sound that is heard on CD's of some of the most successful independent country music artists in the world. With his roots anchored deep in the Kiamichi mountains in the Little Dixie area around Antlers, Atoka, Hugo, Durant and McAlester Oklahoma Lonnie understands the depths from which country music originates and has the ability to bring that rural honesty to the music he produces for the artists he works with. He holds a track record and reputation that is the envy of his peers in the independent country music industry. This "Okie" is constantly in demand by independent country artists looking for that little something extra in their music.

The first thing everyone wants to know is how much it costs to record in Nashville and I charge everyone the same price so I might as well just post my price. $7500 is the cost for a 10 song album and that is with a live studio band and recorded at a studio on Music Row. No singing over some other artists tracks.
If you would like to record 1/2 of your album now (5 songs) and 1/2 later that will be fine and a lot of the artists I work with do that.

As I am in the studio most of the time and have very little time for phone calls or emails, please refrain from those "what do I need to do to get in the music busines" phone calls along with the, "would you listen to my music and tell me if I can sing or not" or "I am a songwriter can I pitch you a song" phone calls. If I take that type of phone call I will be on the phone all day and won't have time to do the work I am getting paid for. Sorry but I just don't have the time to be a part of the networking.
