Nashville Stevie: Four artists and musicians from all walks of life who met in September of 2007 with one common dream: To play some Rock&Roll, and establish ourselves in the DC music scene.
With each individual's talent and creativity, this seemed entirely plausible. Charlie is a solid drummer with dynamic country-style vocals, and the ability to learn+sing a song in about the time it takes to play one. Jimmy plays a heroic lead+slide guitar that has awed and inspired the regional music scene for years. Stevie brings to the table a melodic blues-enspired rhythm guitar that occasionally has been described to have a bit of a Nashville twang to it. Hendrik's sensual, rhythmic, arousing, improvisational fretless basslines keep the bottom end alive and going. Combine these 4 musical styles and you get a unique 70's style blues/rock band with a country twist.
Fast foward to a half a year and many gigs later: Nashville Stevie is proud to say that the first two parts of the dream have been fulfilled over and over again. However, rest assured that Nashville Stevie will not stop until the entire dream is fulfilled and we are all multi-millionaires with Ferarris and gigantic mansions on the Potomac.
