The Movement was an alternative pop band in the Nashville music scene from 1982 till 1986. This site is here for fans of the self titled album which was released in 1984. Richie Owens and Robert Ocker have continued to write together and perform on and off since then, one project Atomic Speedway which is in the music style of the Movement is studio based and can be heard on the Atomic Speedway myspace site. The other project which they are currently performing live with is an Americana band called Richie Owens and the Farm Bureau which can also be checked out on myspace.
