Alreet!?!? Where do I start? Basically I was born in the Bahamas to British parents. We lived there for 6 years but decided to move back to the UK (don't know what the folks were thinking!?). I still have family out there and visit when I can (free holiday!) Growing up I didnt really know what I wanted to do but it was always an ambition of mine to travel the world but also music was a passion of mine from a young age as I found it very therapeutic. I started having guitar lessons when I was 11. After 5 lessons I hated playing (didnt help that my teacher was a wanker!!!) so I gave up, put the guitar in the loft and never wanted to pick it up again. However when I got in to Nirvana 3 years later I picked it up again and decided to teach myself so the rest is history!
I went to Brighton Uni and completed my Certificate in Education which meant I could teach. I did that for a while, taught some amazing people but often found that teachers are underpaid and undervalued (by the institution!!) I then decided to embark on a trip of a lifetime and went round the world for a year and a half. I only started singing when I went travelling, all those nights on the beach by the camp fire I would play guitar and get talked into singing. I only started to take my writing seriously when I got back. After 7 months of being home I got itchy feet again and went travelling around Europe. When I came back I enrolled at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music and realised how music would be what would end my wanderlust ……… ; )
November last year I played my 3rd major concert to promote a compilation album called “Sanctuary” this time at the Millennium Forum Theatre, Derry. It includes “Stars Are Made For The Sky” featuring Moya Brennan from Grammy award winning group Clannad. This Album has various artists both established and unestablished with a wide range of genres such as: Folk, Contemporary Popular and Classical, 8 piece Harp Ensemble, Uilleann Pipes, Gregorian Chant, a Soprano Operatic piece, plus many more. In my humble opinion it is an incredible body of work and for me it was an honour and a privilege working with such talented artists.
I have just finished recording my debut studio album with James Corballis (Radiohead). I plan to release it at some point this century!

Quotes:
"Great voice!” - Mark Knopfler
"His music depicts a poetic feel with clever lyrics which are often ambiguous in meaning, leaving the listener to draw their own interpretation of the song!" - Live Listings Magazine
My E.P "Stargazing" was recorded with Adam Sesseman who has worked on various projects with Bob Butterworth (Simon & Garfunkel). It is now available on itunes and also at Zavvi, Resident and Rounder Records in Brighton.
