This Wednesday I'm playing blues at the E String (2031 W. Sunset, just North of Valle Verde) from 8-10:30pm (one long set), FREE, full menu, full bar, gaming (in the lounge) and all ages. This is an excellent band that is guaranteed to please, playing the best in roots blues from the delta to chi-town featuring AL Ek on harp and resonator, Junior Brantley on keys, Peter Trauth on slide guitar, Jim Lovgren on drums and yours truly, Trevor Davis, on upright bass. The E String is a very hip little venue and hosts various top notch acts....lets keep em coming!
Tonight is the final installment in my academic career at UNLV. I will be performing all original compositions and arrangements with my good friends Adam Moses on guitar, Julian Tanaka on sax and Paul Ringenbach on drums. These pieces and this band is very, very original and I guarantee you'll find it very entertaining.
The fine arts building is located on Maryland Pkwy immediately across the street from University Ave. (a good spot to park). When you enter the building (HFA) go immediately up the stairs and follow the hallway around the "U" walking towards the back of the building...keep following this and eventually you'll find room 238 on the left across from some stairs that go up to the 3rd floor...the recital begins at 6pm so show up slightly early to find a seat and if you arrive slightly late please wait until between songs to enter.
Hope to see you there!

This morning when God opened a window to Heaven, He saw me, and He asked: "My child, what is your greatest wish for today?" I responded: "Please, take care of the person who is reading this message, their family and their special friends. They deserve it and I love them very much" The love of God is like the ocean, you can see its beginning, but not its end. This message works on the day you receive it. Let us see if it is true. ANGELS EXIST but sometimes, since they don't all have wings, we call them TRUE FRIENDS. Pass this on to your true friends. Something good will happen to you at 11:11 in the evening; something that you have been waiting to hear.
Do not break this prayer; send it to a minimum of 11 people Including me"""
