The band had its first gig in December 1978. Nasty Music were a part, or a result, of the DIY attitude of the time, and they used it to make their own, punk rock version of classic rock’n’roll (considered a somewhat strange bird on the scene though, with their sixties amps, a hammond organ and a leslie cabinet).
The line-up has varied during the years, but has been quite consistent the last ten or so, apart from a number of drummers coming and going in an almost Spinal Tap-ish way.
Some say that Nasty Music is better than ever, and they might be right...

Kära vänner. Nu på lördag är det åter dags för Kulturens natt, kvällen då alla spelar överallt och ingenstans. Vi kommer hålla låda tillsammans med Hadar Kasch, Plector och Per Kjell utanför Burmans Musik. Kalaset drar igång vid 19-snåret. Länge leve Svante Burman. Välkommen.
