About Nasville Song Service Written by Philip Schwebs
I have been co-writing songs with a company out of Nashville called Nashville Song Service. The lyrics are written by Philip Schwebs and the melody was done by Nashville Song Service. A song demo was done to pay tribute to a family who lost their little girl six weeks before her first birthday. The little girl's name was Leah and she was born with a condition often mistaken for Down syndrome. The difference lies in that one condition has an extra chromosome while the other has a duplicate chromosome. Most children born with this condition die at birth while the others usually pass away before they reach their first birthday. Leah touched my life even though I hardly knew her. Her family would travel a long distance from Lewiston Idaho to Spokane Washington to attend a Latin Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. It is a long drive and we hardly saw the family so I never got to really know Leah. A strange thing happened to me concerning Leah that has changed my life. Long before Leah passed away I had a vivid dream in which I was present for Leah's funeral. This is what led to the song: "Soon The Tears Will Fall". My dream is to reach out across America to those families who lost a little child to a debilitating disease. Families in America battle everyday to help their children struggle through these horrible conditions. We spend a lot of money on war to battle, I feel we need to spend a lot of money to help families through these trials that God has permitted in their lives. We have tackled some of the most debilitating diseases to children in the past and with God's help and a renewed effort it is possible to come through with some answer today.

I understand what families go through when dealing with a lost child. Six weeks before my fifth birthday, I lost a little sister. She lived for only twelve days and my mother never spoke much about her. My parents never took us to the funeral because they thought my sister and I were were to young to understand. When my parents flew in to attend my son's graduation from the University of Washington in 2006 I had her listen to the song. Afterwards we sat and talked about my sister. She told me about her life and I could still feel the pain in her voice after 47 years gone by. I pray that a country music artist will see this and maybe record the song and see my dream come true. The song "The Shining Star" was a demo done for my wife who was adopted. When you marry someone who was adopted, you realize the emotions and try to be there for them. In researching, I found that most adopted children face the same three questions; Why did my mother give me up? Did she love me? Was it rape? When we purchased our first computer, we registered my wife in some of the big registries in hoping her biological family would be looking for her. As the years faded, it didn't look like it would ever come true. God works in mysterious ways because one day at work, my manager hired a new employee. I was speaking to this lady when the subject of adoption came up and I told her my wife was adopted. She told me I needed to find my wife's mother. I told her it was impossible because her records were sealed and we tried for many years. She would not let up until I agreed to try. I began looking through the papers the adoption agency gave her on general background information. There was nothing there I could use. I started searching for anything on adoption in her papers and began searching registries online. I searched through thousand's of names with no success. I then placed her name in some of the registries and finally told my wife what I was doing. I did not want to get her hopes up. The following day, I received an e-mail from one of the registries we put her name in. The lady was happy I was trying to help my wife and wanted to help us. The next morning, I received another e-mail with her mother's maiden name and married name. My wife was to afraid to write her a letter so I wrote one for her. My son helped me type it up and mailed it to her. Her mother read the letter and could not believe it and called her right away. It was an emotional time for everyone. In 2005, my wife and children traveled to California and spent two days at her home. My wife keeps in touch with her through e-mail still today. Her mother was 73 years old and my wife was 50 years old when they met for the first time. This song was written to capture that moment in her life when they would meet for the first time. For those searching, never give up hope.

The song "Let Your Light Shine" does not have a demo for it yet but I hope to have other demo's done. This song was written for my daughter. The song is far reaching to teenagers who don't fit into our school system. Some parents have had to face seeing their children commit suicide. It is an issue we need to address as a nation. I hope when this demo does get done it will reach out to teenagers and let them see their value in society.

A song I hope to see a demo done for is called "When I Met You". This song was written to celebrate my twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Another song called "Wipe Away All Those Tears" was written to comfort families who lost a loved one in the present war.

We also have a demo out called. "Put On Your Wings And Fly." This song is a reflective song to reach out to people in a fast pace America. We need to take time out and reflect on what is truly important in our lives.
