Benjamin and I met 7 years ago through a mutual friend. We instantly became good friends but lost touch over the years. Although we were reunited in the Summer of '03, we did not officially begin dating until November '03. Since then, we have been through a lot, and the Lord has used that time to bring us closer to eachother and closer to Him. I am so thankful that it is God's will for Ben and I to spend the rest of our lives together!
In September, Benjamin planned an incredible weekend trip to NYC to celebrate my 25th birthday. He took me everywhere, from the top of the Empire State Building to "The Lion King" on Broadway. On September 28th, Ben took me on a midnight carriage ride through Central Park in New York City. He had the driver stop at the fountain where they taped the intro to the TV show "Friends." Then, Ben got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the most thoughtful, romantic proposal I have ever heard of and I am so blessed to be getting married to such an incredible and godly man!
Our wedding will be held on June 6, 2008 and we are honeymooning in Jamaica!! :)
