Sounds Like
A girl whose mother is a concert pianist, brother was a guitarist in a heavy metal band, sister sings power ballads for weddings, father was a radio engineer, who picked up guitar from her boyfriends, snuck into college writing classes at the age of 10, learned the international phonetic alphabet at the Youth Performing Arts School, studied as a theatre and dance major, then grew up to become a radio announcer and voiceover talent, session singer, self-produced songwriter, late night piano player, not-on-strike script writer, PT Cruiser driving coffee addict who photographs ceilings and single-handedly invented the Dewey Decimal system.
NNG can be a bit shy with strangers. Ask her what she does for a living and chances are she’ll deflect the question, just
try to tell you she writes commercial copy or works in media.Well…that is true.
What she’s unlikely to bother
mentioning is that she’s a radio host currently heard daily on KDAR.She's released 6 solo CDs (with a 7th ‘Best
Of’ project in the works) and she's been a featured vocalist
on projects for French TV, Scarlet
Dakota, Sojourn, and a privately released Gilbert Family Christmas
project.NNG is also half of the Bisignano & Gilbert duo,
releasing an EP later this year.
In years past she’s been the
morning gal on 101QFL, WRKA, WFIA and WJIE. Gilbert’s voice is also heard
around the country on regional and national spots for McDonald’s, Cadillac, Quizno’s,
as well as videos for the Army, Eppic
Films and Site Organic, among
others.
When Gilbert isn’t matching her
words with music or a microphone, her writing finds its way into articles, short stories and
poetry collections (Pinches
of Salt & Prisms of Light and Heart
Stirring Stories of Love, for instance). She's also currently penning the In[Tact]: Authenticity for Artists book, posted here chapter by chapter in the blog above.
On the acting side of things, NNG
has been featured in numerous independent films (you’ll see a few in the list of
links on the left) and stage productions, most notably as Maria in West Side Story and the Narrator in Joseph in the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She’s played numerous characters, including
Princess Leia, for the RoneyZone RadioTatooine TV episodes.Natalie Nicole taught screen acting and
commercial classes for Vogue Models and Cosmo Models & Talent and continues to occasionally don producing and writing hats for Edgewise Films.
Gilbert owns and operates the On Time Talent voiceover studio,
where she also produces much of her own music, and is a co-founder of AMLA (Alliance
Management Los Angeles).
Natalie
lost her brother, singer/songwriter/guitarist Russell (RJ) Gilbert, in 1993
after a fatal shooting, and lost another two friends that same year (to
cancer and a separate shooting). In August 2007, NNG also survived being hit by a SUV while jogging; already she's walking, dancing and even jogging unafraid on the route where she was hit in West Hollywood.
Hi, just wanna stop by to wish you a wonderful weekend! =] Btw: I'm speechless about the Twilight NEW MOON movie. It was so awesome, so great, so "hype"light. :P

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
I want you to know that I really appreciate your friendship so much!
Cancer is the weapon of human destruction and so many people are diagnosed with this on a daily basis. Whether we like it or not we're all affected by this C word because every one of us am sure knows one or more people with some form of it right now or who had it - some lucky people are fortunate to survive it, but many unfortunately don't, sadly. For this reason it's sooo important that money is donated for cancer research so there are better treatments and even cures for the various forms of cancer. Stand Up To Cancer is a great cause that you should add, support and see what you can do to help. Personally, I'm already thinking about doing some sort of personal project to raise money myself so that I can donate to SUTC. I support many causes, but right now this one is close to my heart because recently I lost an old school friend of mine to it.
