About me:
♥ This super cute layout is from iloveyourspace.com ♥

I'm an author living in Utah, behind the Zion Curtain. An Ain't in the land of Saints. Every day is a new journey. Check out my Web site to learn about all of my books, including WIVES AND SISTERS, and to read an excerpt of my new book, BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, available now from St. Martin's Press. You can also read my popular (but often hated) blog, Trapped by the Mormons. Also, check out my alter ego, Natalie M. Roberts, writing the Jenny T. Partridge Dance Mystery Series.
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who likes to read or write! Especially those who like to read and write HONEST fiction, and don't want it the whitewashed "Mormons are wonderful" rhetoric. Mormons are HUMAN. They cheat, steal, lie, murder, and by God, there are a lot of NICE, moral, good and ethical ones, too. Amazing how that works. Watch for BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, coming out January 2, 2007, from St. Martin's press.

Can you beat my score on the "80's teen movies" quiz?

I got 100%. Can you do any better?

Are you as old as me? I knew most of them. Maybe all of them.

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone.

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to children as a gift?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm... where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

Makes you stop and think, "Where are my priorities?"

And no dropped calls!

Thank God for His Word!

I carry my bible with me everywhere I go, and you should too. God bless you.

Hey,

Thanks for being a friend.

Things are going well here. I visited with two book groups this week and talked about Sin and Vengeance even though it's been out for almost three years. We talked with Marla Cukor, the screenwriter who is working on the film adaptation. I'm not sure who enjoyed the meetings most, but we all got a lot out them.

Great to meet you.

It's the way you play that makes it . . . Play like you play. Play like you think, and then you got it, if you're going to get it. And whatever you get, that's you, so that's your story.
