| General | THE LOWDOWN:
Amongst working full time at the Royal Mail I am looking for part time work experience in the Engineering industry in the afternoons, I am open to all areas.
I am not asking for money or travel expenses, just offering to help out in exchange for some experience. I am a fast learner and I am excited about getting involved and putting my skills to use. About me:
I am now working for the Royal Mail in Bromley. I am looking to get some work experience in the afternoons as I usually finish work before 2.30pm.
I graduated from City University with a 2.2 BEng Hons in Mechanical Engineering in 2007. My main areas of study were Gas Turbines, Turbomachinary, Structures and Materials. These were all my favourite subjects. But I have other skills that I have developed with experience and academically like Management.
Take a look at my Final Year Project based on the design of an alternative Turbocharger. I was scored 75%.This was my absolute top priority in my third year, as I wanted a whole complete project with all the phases. I see it as more valuable that I can collaborate all aspects of a project and tie it up! It's not perfect but my facts, figures and understanding is solid.

Who I'd like to meet:
I am really keen on meeting engineers in industry. I am looking for a company to do some work experience with. I am free in the afternoons to be a PA or do any secretary/admin duties within the industry; I am interested in expanding my experience to other areas as well as the ones I have mentioned.
