About me: Natanyahu is my name in Hebrew (Nathan in English). Natan-Yahu translates to given/gift of יהוה (the LORD). By the grace of יהוה/YaHWeH I follow Yahshua/Yeshua HaMashiach (anglicized/commonly known as Jesus Christ), His Torah/Scriptures, and strive to live by His commands daily, to be set-apart, to love Him, and my fellow peops, using the gift(s) He has given, all for His glory.
My faith is Messianic Israelite, Judeo-Christian in the sense of relating to/identifying with both faiths, yet strongly believing that the original faith of our Heavenly Father was meant to be neither "Jewish" nor "Christian" in the way we most often see them represented today, but a unified faith in the Elohim (God) of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, brought together by a faith in the Savior Messiah Yahshua. We by grace keep His Word/Torah/Commands/Instructions/Law, and live by His Ruach/Spirit.
Both faiths (Judaism and Christianity) have the truth, yet also have been contaminated with traditions of men. I seek to connect with others who crave something more than what denominationalism and religion has to offer, who desire to use their gifts, their lives to glorify our Father, who is not a respector of person, but wants all to come to His Salvation, Yahshua (translated YAH's/the LORD's Salvation in Hebrew). I use the name Yahshua instead of "Jesus" because it is more accurate and meaningful to me.
In believing in Him, we are holding to a strong faith in the Messiah Yahshua, the son of Elohim, Christ, His perfect life, who taught us and demonstrated obedience to His commands/word/torah/instructions/law perfectly, and came performing signs, wonders, and miracles. He was received by some, rejected by more, crucified for our transgressions, is our perfect atonement, was buried, resurrected on the third day, with many eye witnesses to these facts. Indeed I can testify of His presence and work in my life, and His love for me.
In loving Him in return, I seek to obey Him, and to be like/do as He did. Every student is like his teacher/instructor, and keeps His instructions when trained properly. He is returning soon, it is extremely important to be ready! I am a disciple/talmid of Yahshua. He kept the Sabbath and the holy feast days/celebrations described in the scriptures. His law was not "done away with," and He did not come to "abolish" it in any way. He combated the religious leaders who in addition to the Word, placed heavy burdens and extra restrictions on the people that were not originally in the Word/Law/Torah. In fact, when we live by His Word, obeying His instructions, by His grace, because we love Him, we are truly blessed in this life, and in the Kingdom to come.
Through trials and personal challenges I have come to a deeper understanding, relationship, and faith in יהוה the Almighty, as He has revealed Himself more to me, I seek to share with others. Still I have room to grow and seek to know my Heavenly Father more each day.
