Creating music that is a cross between RnB, Hip Hop and Pop, Natasha Hynes has her own take on today’s commercial music. The Canadian born singer, songwriter, producer, and performer, has made an impression on the Montreal scene, not only as a sensational vocalist, but also “an amazing producer!” – DJ Majess.
Current
Her debut Album is coming close to completion, as it’s being mixed by Montreal’s DJ Technical. The first single, “Crazy”, which is deemed to be a hit, according to several Montreal DJ’s given the opportunity to get a sneak preview, is waiting to be released. “Crazy is gonna be a hit!”- DJ Technical. The album includes a southern beat with a surprise featuring yet to be revealed, which will be released to radio in early 2010.
The streets are buzzing about Natasha’s underground remix of “Down” by Jay Sean. So far the feedback is that her track is considered a better version of the song than the original. Listen for it and request it in Montreal nightclubs.
Background
Natasha was featured on the "Here I Come" album by Rasselas on his song called "Alright". Natasha has featured on several underground hip-hop tracks by artists such as New York rapper D.O.E. Boy, Montreal’s M.O. and more. Natasha was in demand in the local reggaeton scene as the token hook girl featuring on various tracks by artists such as Li’l Loco, and k-liche. This led to her performance opening for Zion and Lennox, superstars in the reggaeton community.
Natasha briefly toured with an eight piece band in Canada. She also participated in a collaboration of local artists, called the Farm Team, to pack several venues in Montreal for a number of performances. The venues included the Hard Rock café which, for the first time in the history of the venue, was filled to capacity for an urban performance. They released two moderately successful collaboration albums.
Conclusion
Based on long-time and recent feedback, the public already has high expectations of what is to come this coming year from Natasha Hynes
Paz
