"Natasha's warm lyric voice penetrates the heart - and her spirit triumphs with all the ferocity of a great roaring lioness. This is a voice to be heard" - Voice Coach, Tami Petty
Although she is not yet in her twenties, Natasha Poholka
is already an accomplished vocalist whose "warm lyric
penetrates the heart." Already she is a "voice to be heard" (Vocal
Coach, Tami Petty).
As children she and
her sister, Crystal formed a duo, and recorded the album
“Classic Grace” in 2001. They showcased their music on SafeTV's
original television program “Purely Music” and won a Silver
Angel Award for Music. Together they toured the Ukraine with a
youth orchestra, as well as performing across the US and Canada,
and on numerous television and radio programs. In 2004 the duo
released their second effort, “For Unto Us” and filmed another
two episodes of SafeTV's “Purely Music”, this time winning a
Videographer's Award of Excellence. They have also performed in
prestigious venues such as New York City's Lincoln Center and
Madison Square Garden, toured New Zealand and also performed in
Australia.
Natasha's studies at the Westchester Conservatory of Music were
sponsored by Pepsi. She also performed at the company's
corporate headquarters in Somers, New York. She later enrolled
at Westchester Community College, and performed for an audience
of 5000 at the commencement ceremony in 2008. In December of
that same year she made her opera debut in the Eastern Festival
Opera’s production of “Amahl and the Night Visitors”. She sang
her entire role without a microphone and over a small orchestra.
Having held her own alongside professional musicians she wants
to continue to be judged on her merits rather than her age.
In 2009 she became the youngest ever graduate of Westchester
Community College, earning an Associates degree in Performing
Arts. Having maintained a 4.0 grade point average at WCC, she
was accepted to Andrews University to further her education.

This Syrian village, Saidnaya, where houses are built around a rock with a very old convent at the top, is considered a place for religious pilgrimage.
A steep climb is the only way up to the convent, which is said to date back to the Emperor Justinian.
Legend has it that the Virgin Mary appeared to Justinian and asked him to found the convent.
After entering through a maze of passages, you finally reach the Chapel of the Virgin. The walls are covered with beautiful icons including one said to have been painted by St. Luke.
This chapel was very famous to Christians and at one point was the second Christian place of pilgrimage after Jerusalem, the crusaders called it "Notre Dame de Sardeneye".
Greetings and love from Syria

Dear friend Natasha Poholka: My fraternal greeting! Thank you very much for your friendship! Be Happy! "To be Happy is to walk with Love and Wisdom"! Be with God, but also, He is inside of yourself! The Humanity doesn’t suffer for lack of Love, but, for luck of spiritual understanding! My fight is not between the Good and the Badly, but between the Knowledge and the Ignorance, because the Badly only exists in the Ignorance of the cosmic laws of spiritual evolution... It is at the end the alienated man’s Era and the beginning of the conscious man’s Era. It is at the end the religious man’s Era and the beginning of the spiritualized man’s Era. Be free and progressive in the search of the “truth” that is your interior illumination! Much Peace! Much Light! Brotherly, I am, Guilherme de Abreu Correia (Spiritualist Writer and ex-Musician) MADEIRA ISLANDS (Portugal)
You have surely heard about the tragic death of a brave young woman who was murdered in Iran just for peacefully protesting with her father on the streets of Teheran.
