Like the new look of youir sight. In regard to your inquiry...you did not see a music file, as it was only the lyrics. I am working on the raw production this week and will get you a file to check out as soon as it's done! I hope your HomeTown concert goes awesome. I'll remind Nancy and Jess from 1625 to stop by!

Take Care Natasha,

I really liked the song Stolen Love (on Highway 99) from your Don't Move album (I am old and I downloaded it from eMusic anyway). Loved it! I now have the entire album and it is in my favorites in iTunes.
Keep recording, I will keep listening!

Hola Natasha,

SUNDAY TIMES CALLS 6/11 SHOW A "BEST BET"

Good news: the Sunday Contra Costa Times rated Steve Taylor-Ramírez’ June 11 show at the Plough & Stars a "best bet" (page D5, May 25). They even put my pic next to Death Cab for Cutie and Brad Paisley. Not bad company to be in ...

Music and info here: http://www. myspace. com/thestevetaylor

As the paper says: "Berkeley musician Steve Taylor-Ramírez takes his Latin-infused neo-folk, across the Bay to San Francisco's Plough and Stars pub, 9 p.m. 116 Clement St. Free. (415) 751-1122, http://www. theploughandstars. com."

We hope you can make it. Espero que allá nos vemos.

Natasha,

NEO-FOLK SINGER STEVE TAYLOR-RAMÍREZ AT PLOUGH AND THE STARS, SF, MAY 14

Troubadour Steve Taylor-Ramírez brings his critically acclaimed folk, acoustic soul and Latin hillbilly tunes back to the Plough and the Stars Pub, 116 Clement Street (at 2nd Avenue), in San Francisco, on Wed., May 14, starting at 9 pm. There's no cover charge, and he'll play two sets. http://www. myspace. com/thestevetaylor

The Plough and the Stars SF was voted “Best Irish Pub” by the SF Weekly and bills itself as “Home of Traditional Irish Music in the Bay Area.” Visit http://www. theploughandstars. com.

It’s a nice place in a lovely part of town, and the Guinness is great.
We hope you can make it!

Hi Natasha,

OK, sorry about that... I remember seeing you now, I think we did meet briefly. There were so many people involved in that event, it's just hard to be sure who was doing what! Anyway, I saw on your page that you're often at Yoshi's. What a great place! I hope to play there again sometime. It's a bit far to go for a $100 gig, but maybe when I'm worth more... ;)

Good luck with your career, though it sounds like you're doing just fine without it:)

ciao,
matt

I love this quote. I pray that the people of the world will do more of this:

Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.
- Albert Camus

Thanks Natasha! Glad you enjoyed it:) Did I see you there? Did we meet and I spaced out? If so, I'm very sorry... it was a bit hectic (to put it mildly) before that first set, so I was really distracted all the time. Did you sing something at the show that I missed? I remember hearing your name from one of the musicians... anyway, thanks for writing, I'm so glad to get your message:) Sorry we didn't get to meet (or that I don't remember if we did:o).

Best,
matt

Happy new year, Natasha! Thanks for that great idea and generous offer. Of course we need an East Bay spot. Plus, we need to reschedule our show, yes? I'm looking at September and beyond. Is that too far away to plan?
