Nathan Jarrell has been playing and performing on the guitar for over fourteen years. Nathan first gained experience performing and recording with various rock groups and toured throughout the United States . He has since worked in numerous genres including Jazz, Blues, and Celtic music. Nathan can be seen performing with various Jazz groups throughout the San Diego area in formats ranging from solo guitar to jazz quintets. He holds a bachelors degree in jazz studies from San Diego State University and has studied privately with many great musicians including Rick Helzer, Joe Diorio, Jody Fisher, and Bob Boss. He also works as the Assistant Director of the west coast campuses of the National Guitar Workshop and teaches guitar locally in San Diego.
