I like to think my major influences have just been life! Honestly...raising a 16 year old boy at the same time as raising an 8 year old daughter, holding down a "regular" job and performing and recording music...heck...I have something new to write about every six seconds!!

Nate Sparks is a Virginia native currently living in a small town with his wife and two children. Since starting his music career at the age of 6, Nate has been writing and playing all types of music. Nate has worked as a studio engineer, session musician, jingle writer, producer, band captain, and live performer for over 25 years. For almost ten years, he played keyboards and sang in various productions at Busch Gardens theme park in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Nate left the entertainment industry almost 12 years ago to complete his education and pursue a career working with children with disabilities. Nate has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Special Education and holds a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership. Nate works as an education coordinator for students with disabilities.
Nate began writing songs when he was about 7 years old and his music has been published and performed in radio and television commercials, as well as corporate videos. His music has been recorded and performed by other artists and Nate has a current writing catalogue of over 200 songs. Nate plays keyboards, guitar, drums, and bass; as well as singing and engineering all of his music. His debut CD (From Where I Stand) was released in Dec. 2005 and tracks from the CD went as high as number 1 on individual station playlisting around the world. Nate's newest CD, Carry On was released in January 2009 with tracks in rotation in Canada, England, Ireland, Denmark, Japan, Australia, and indie and small market stations across the United States.

Here are some things you can do:

Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.

Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
