nate.3.0 (born Nathan William Runkel) is an amateur singer/songwriter/screenwriter/photographer/etc. Born May 2nd, 1977, nate has spent his lifetime in a neverending pursuit to entertain others. He was originally a member of the band The Swinging Cannons until their end, when they fizzled out of existence.
It was from the ashes of the Cannons that nate.3.0 began finding himself as a performer. In the winter of 1999, nate formed the destructive force known as The Impact Players with Randy Major (of Lost in Paris fame). The duo took Western Pennsylvania by storm, leaving no fan un-rocked. In their seven years together, the IP may have only released two albums, but their impact (pun intended) is still reverberating around the local music scene.
Currently, nate has been trying his hand at the solo game, honing his craft at open mics throughout the greater Philadelphia area, including one he hosts at Tex Mex Connection the first and third Thursday of every month, and one at the Peanut Gallery every Tuesday night.
