After successfully touring America three times in the last year, culminating in playing to a full house at the Highline Ballroom in New York City, and then a short stint in Japan, Nathan Gaunt completed work on an album that would marry the two musical cultures in which he had been immersed.
Blending Japanime themes with Americana instrumentation and songwriting, electronic beats with rusty Gibson acoustic guitars, the result is “See Ya Later, Space Cowboy”, an album written on the global neon highway, and recorded in Los Angeles.
In stores and online on October 27th. Visit www.nathangaunt.com.au for more information.
