It was early 2004 when founding members Steve (Drums) and Mike (Lead Guitar) were part of the band The Oedipus Complex (real original, I know). They recorded a CD entitled "The Production Line of Death," played a number shows, printed some shirts.. the whole shebang. Lots of personal things happened.. people moved away.. so the band called it quits. Instantaneously a new band spawned from the mutilated cadaver of The Oedipus Complex; Nathaniel White.
After writing about 11 songs, and playing some shows here and there, Nathaniel White decided it was time to play as many shows as they possibly could to gain exposure. They played every venue they possibly could; churches, bars, recreation centers, basements, warehouses... anywhere from Binghampton to Manhattan and up to Albany, a show in Vermont (there was a nasty blizzard that night, 2 feet of snow... it was a fucking nightmare, let me tell you.. but that's a whole other story in itself..), plus more in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
After numerous lineup changes due to artistic differences and lack of commitment from certain members, Nathaniel White called it quits after printing 150 shirts (those are collectors items now, mind you.. haha), and 3 demos which are all out of print.
After about 2 more years of going through different projects, Steve (Drums) and Mike (Lead Guitar), finally realized their true calling, so they decided to get the ball rolling again. With the help of Brando (Bass), and old friend John Riccardi(vocals), they did just that. In August of 2008 they started writing furiously for their debut EP which is still in the process of being written, but is nearing completion. For now Nathaniel White will be playing as many shows as they possibly can to promote themselves and their music.
"We're just here to make the best music we possibly can, and play it the best we possibly can. We want to make new friends and have a good fucking time. If you need a death metal band for any kind of show, please send us a message, we will play anywhere and everyone else, feel free to hit us up."
