Nathan does most of the singing and playing. For the church music recordings, there is an occassional Rick Jensen (backup vocals, guitar, percussion), Sarah Partain (backup vocals), Jonathan Marzinke (violin), and/or Stacey Solano (flute). These musicians (among many others)also contributed to the People You Meet record, with the exception of Rick Jensen, who was the Mixing Mastermind.
Too, there was a People You Meet band in existence, a while back. It included Joel Garies on guitar and vocals, Kletia Garies on violin, keys, and vocals, Jeremy Dybash on drums, Sarah Partain on bass and vocals and Nathan, on lead vocals and guitar.
The Nathan Partain Music page is up to showcase the many music projects of Nathan Partain. He is the new Music Arts Director at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, IN. He and the family recently moved here from Seattle and are adjusting to life with a full time musician. Once settled, he hopes to write and record music again, both in and out of the church. Check back often for updates and new music!..

Happy birthday, you crazy Nashville transplant. I'm going to celebrate your birthday by throwing a birthday party for someone else. Just to be original.
nathan, your music excites me as a bird is excited while free falling off of the space needle. (think: "ahhhh! i'm going to die! nevermind, i can fly... everything is alright.")
Dude, thanks for the new tires. I'll think of you now whenever I run over something. Wait... no, that's not right... let me try that again... I didn't mean... I... I... I love you, man!
I need more Partain music. The People You Meet and GLPC CDs have far and away got the most rotation in our house over the past 3 years. They've only been threatened by Rosie & Sufjan...
