I was born in November in 1987 to a church travelling family whose dad is a pastor. We hit Mississippi, Montana, Indiana, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, and Arkansas, and by then I was near 18 years old. I ran away when we'd hit Arkansas and lived with my sisters in Springfield. Graduated high school there, a lot of heavy happen happened and happened, so I had to leave. Travelled around and slept nights in my car. Spent a while in Athens but ended up towards the end of the summer back in Springfield. Couldn't stay there so I travelled down to Austin Texas Town where I lived for right around nine months. A good fella and friend of mine Drew did a documentary about me there and I worked at a gas station which I'm just realising sounds just like Gestation which is when a people has a baby which also takes nine months. Which is what happened, my apartment all a sudden wouldn't let me sleep in it, kind of like it was having labour pains and time for the baby to come out, and so I packed up and headed out. Started walking west looking for a man named Devendra and found it was much easier hitch hiking. Made it all the way to the big rock candy canyon where I'm staying now, it is a place of wonder and magic. Devendra and his friends are helping me out getting the music out where it belongs, and things are just fine.
i believe you put it very well. i just went to texas to see the girl i love, but things didnt work out just how i had planned, and she sent me packing, so back to california i went. i couldnt bare live with my family in kentucky any longer. my family loves me, but they are very damaging to my soul without even realizing it. they cut my freedom and limit my abilities to be me. i arrived in los angeles just now at 2 in the morning, and i've got a bit of money to get by, hope to see you soon.

Come and rock out with the Pirates Charles throughout the month of February! We'll be playing two different shows at the Redwood Bar and Grill in Downtown LA, a fabulously steezy bar of piratical proportions - first is on February 5 and is a charity show to raise money to rebuild post-Katrina New Orleans, and the other is on Feb 15 - a gigantic promotional party for PyrateCon2008!
