I'm 17 and have been playing for nearly 4 1/2 years and live in Wales.
My name is Nathan Treadgold. I'm an acoustic guitarist. My main influences are Andy Mckee, Don Ross and Tommy Emmanuel and am currently working on my first CD!

I'm not sure what's up on the UK iTunes thing, I didn't even know there was a separate one for you guys over there. I thought it was all the same! Anyway, I'll try to find out.
I am currently using just the K&K on the Greenfields. I've come to the conclusion that magnetic pickups are just too wonky for me! So anyway, I just come out of that and go into my DTAR Solstice preamp which then goes out to the house. That's it and that's all brother!

Hi Nathan, Thanks so much for sharing cyber space with me. I was just enjoying your music! Since he is one of your influences, I don't think you'll mind my saying you remind me quite a bit of Andy McKee back when he was younger about 8 years ago or so, when I first met him in Winfield KS at The Walnut Valley Festival. A few years later I was in Topeka KS (Andy's hometown)to do a coffeehouse gig with him. When he played Rylynn for me for the first time at his Moms house I knew something very special was happening with him. He got up to check his email and I mentioned to his Mom that I felt that someday Andy would be one of the most well respected and successful guitarists in the world. His Mom replied "Do you really think so?" I remember at the time he was telling me about Myspace and Youtube and I, being older and out of touch was concentrating on radio. Well...the results are quite evident on that. Keep doing what you're doing, follow your heart and don't ever let anyone talk you out of your dreams. You've got alot of talent, great influences and are on a very good road to travel. Brian
