Hanging out with family and close friends, in particular my best mate 'My Wifey', playing, recording and listening to music, riding my Harley with a bunch of mates, lifting weights, tinkering with computers, watching movies and music DVD's, finding excuses not to go to work....lol
Music
Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deep Purple, Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Blind Melon - man this list could go on forever...!!! As for my major influences in the black art of 'playing guitar', that would be as follows: Dave Gilmour, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Gaines and Allen Collins and Gary Rossington (from Skynyrd), Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Tommy Emmanuel, and lots more.
Movies
The Matrix Trilogy, Terminator Trilogy, the Butterfly Effect, Almost Famous, Wild Hogs (I think I know most of the characters...lol)
Television
Stargate Atlantis and SG-1, 24, Prison Break, Sarah Connor Chronicles.
I'm married with 1 son, and have been playing music since about the age of 9. I play lead and rhythm guitar, acoustic and electric, as well as a bit of bass guitar, and have a home studio where I write and co-write music, as well as record and produce other artists - among other things. Find me at www.kaneaudio.com.au (See MySpace page below).
I was lead guitarist with Rock/Blues band Jon Dory through it's various incarnations from around 1989 until 2007 when the band called it quits (although it has been know to spontaneously re-form for very special occasions!!). I've recently co-written songs with David Delle-Vergin, as well as with Bernie Binns, my long time musical co-conspirator from Jon Dory days, and occasionally play guitar with Doug Bruce or others when the opportunity arises. I still gig with Bernie as much as possible, and we have plans for future ventures - watch this space!
Below is the spot I did with Dave Delle-Vergin and the band on Channel 9 Kids WB to promote the release of first single from the EP "The Devil's New Girlfriend".
..
Below is my old band "Jon Dory" playing a couple of original tracks, as well as a couple of Pink Floyd songs, Comfortably Numb and The Wall. It features me on lead guitar, Bernie Binns on vocals, Mike "Ratty" Hirsh on drums and Adam "Kool" Phillips on bass. It was recorded at our final gig - "The Last Gasp" - in Sunbury, Australia in June 2007 - Hope you enjoy!

Here's a clip a BNS Ball Goer buddy Billy_308 put up on Youtube to a song I co-wrote with David Delle-Vergin.
Just wanted to let you know I have some samples from my latest album on myspace and would love to here what you think. I had a blast recording it with some of the best in the industry, Like James Burton (Elvis Presley's lead Guitarist) along with many more. Please stop by and have a listen. Blessings Darin Warner
Thanks for the add! Kentucky's Rufus Huff debut CD now available on ZOHO Roots and Blues Boulevard Records.
Who's Rufus Huff? Named after two obscure Blues men Whistlin' Rufus and Luther Huff, the Glasgow, Kentucky-based Blues Rock quartet is made up of Dean Smith, Chris Hardesty, Jarrod England and Greg Martin, known for his raucous, incendiary electric guitar playing in the South's hardest country rockers, The Kentucky HeadHunters.
Rufus Huff, steeped in the tradition of Cream, Jeff Beck, Free, Led Zeppelin, Mountain, Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsies, Cactus, and ZZ Top!!!!
Hi Nado, we wanted all of our Myspace friends to know that Glenn Hughes Tickets are now on sale & selling fast. No major advertising has started yet so this is just a courtesy heads up to fans so they dont miss out... There are only 3 OZ shows in total & it could be an early sell out!
Some fans have also asked if they can meet Glenn, so we are thinking about Platinum Tix for an after show meet & greet. Please send us a msg via Myspace if you think you would be interested.
Have a great day & hope to see you at a gig in April! GH & Band.
G'day Nado, Great to meet you too mate - really enjoyed your set with David! Look forward to seeing you guys soon - I think we've got a song to write! Cheers Dave
