The NGWA staff that I work with have many different interests. There are some guys and gals here at work that love sports as well and there are others that like arts & entertainment, cars, etc.

Any type of movie! My favorite of all time is Dumb and Dumber.

Sporting events and the occasional sporting events!I find many shows fascinating. Our Board President, Loyd Watson, and his company, Watson Well Drilling, were recently featured on an episode of Dirty Jobs. If you haven't seen it I will try to post it to the page. We also had a board member featured on the show Modern Marvels two years ago. I will also try to post this one as well.

Thanks for the add! I wanted to let everyone know that our company has a 1995 Speedstar 30K for sale if you want details send me a message! We want this rig sold!
G'day g'day. This is a little video of me drilling out in the English channel. I taped a camera to the rods as we were tripping back down the hole. Fun, fun, fun!
I recently saw the NGWA sponsored Darcy Lecture given by Mike Celia. I believe he has some very innovative, and scientifically accurate ideas, although some are slightly opinionated. Either way, I think his approach to carbon sequestration and hydrogeology can potentially be a blue print for future research and actions. Thanks for helping sponsor it!
I would appreciate some study material if you could get some for me. Things have been goin on. Slopping around in the mud and cold. Usual winter conditions. Hahaha.
I'll be putting pics of our newest drill rig up later tonight. Business is slowing down like it usually does around Xmas but service work is still strong. We have been doing a lot of abandonments for folks who hooked up to city water.
Almost two years now. Im about to get my drillers apprentinceship when I go out to Marietta, OH in a few weeks. Id like to go next week but were under some pressure to wrap up the job were on now and move on. By any chance do you know how I can get a hold of a hard copy of a Johnsons Well Drilling book? The only thing on the NGWA website is CDrom. Id like to start studying for my NJ drillers license.
Ya know I am soooo tired of telling customers why drilling a well makes so much mess in their yard. Da what happens when you mix dirt and water.....MUD LOTS OF MUD!! Sorry just had to vent!
Anyone catch 'WILDCATTERS' last night on A&E (I think it was A&E)? Great show about 3 guys putting a boatload of money on the line in search of gas/oil in CA, TX, and the Arctic.
While it goes outside of the water well arena, it's not real often that we're exposed to rigs of that magnitude -- the one in the Arctic was amazingly large.
Hey Jason any idea where I can get info on open and closed loop geothermal wells? I need some reading information for the weekend. Have a great one. Tuff
