If you cant stand behind our soldiers, atleast try to stand beside them to support them the whole way. it may be hard for us to let them go on short notice but believe they will be back!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING SOLDIERS :) I support you 100%

@Lashawn, AIT is Advanced Individual Training, it trains you to do your job in the Military.

My husband joined the National Gaurd in Delaware. I was wondering I have been told for Christmas they will be recieving a ride back home but we have to pick them up for Christmas break.... Do i have to arrange a flight to and from or just coming home? Also one other question my husband will be gone 29 weeks for AIT in Georgia and he was told after a certin amount of weeks family can come live out there while they are in AIT is this true?

Dominique Lashawn. To Join the Military at 17 a Guardian has to Sighn for you you Need to take the ASVAB - Armed Serivices Vacational Apittude Battery Test. And Get Sworn in at the (MEPS) Go to your Local National Guard Recuret Sation and the will be able to help you from here .

Branden any job in the military can be deadly. Just remember we choose to do whatever job it is. If you enjoy it then do it. Think about this if you leave and go across the big pond. If something happens to you it could happen here. We live in a country that in some place I could say that it's worse then what you could see over there. At least there you know they have guns........

I need to talk to someone that is in the MOS 13F. I want to know all I can before I decide to do this job. It sounds very exciting. But some people are telling me it can be very deadly. One guy said it has a high mortality rate and if spotted by the enemy you are done. Do these guys work alone behind enemy lines? I just dont wanna get blown up my first day in A-Stan when I get sent there. Any info will help Thanks everyone. Enlisting 10/2/2009 Michigan National Guard!
