-----Based in the Highlands of Louisville, Kentucky and founded in the autumn of 2004, National Hotel has put as its primary focus sessions of composing and rehearsing hours of interactive material. These conjuring sessions have provided and continue to provide National Hotel's elusive members with time to experiment with instrumental alchemy. As well as the traditional rock band instruments such as drumkit, electric guitars, and bass guitars, National Hotel has also been incorporating state of the art synthesizers, a wide variety of ethno-acoustic percussives, field recordings, samples, digital and analog effects, saxophones, wind instruments, and the acoustic flamenco guitar.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------National Hotel has also completed two studio projects with the help of Logan Street Studios in Louisville. These projects, "The Legend Of The Non-Denominational Pyramid" (2006) and "A Handbook Of Observances And Antidotes" (2007), are a mere audio-glimpse at what National Hotel brings to their live shows. National Hotel is also currently working on compiling a live cd featuring shows from touring 8 U.S. states.

While nowadays it often seems like all the Psy Trance labels either reduce the speed of their releases and turn to more and more body-orientated club sounds or crank up the tempo of their music to rather hectic levels, Solar Tech Records delivers an excellent selection of tunes that keeps the golden mean: With tracks between 142 and 145 BPM the music is powerful, driving and very psychedelic on the one hand but also progressive in the original meaning of the word and does not get stressful or kitschy at any point. For this second compilation label owner DJ Natron extended his network of promising producers from South Africa, Switzerland, UK, Germany and South America and again presents some sparking pearls for original Psychedelic lovers.
