MISSION
The mission of the NAACP Youth & College Division shall be to inform youth of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities; to advance the economic, education, social and political status of African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities and their harmonious cooperation with other peoples; to stimulate an appreciation of the African Diaspora and other people of color’s contribution to civilization; and to develop an intelligent, militant effective youth leadership.

Granted what he said was wrong, but think about what rappers say all say everyday on urban radio shows. TV Shows and what have you Look at BET Uncut. I feel if were going to try boycott him we also need to stop supporting people (Black, White, Yellow, Green). Who portray African Americans in a bad light I'm not gong to be a hypocrite.. We have to clean our own house first. Think about it what you hear THE GAME, 50 Cent, Jay Z, and all the rest of them saying about African Americans. Especially women,. They rap about women like they are a pair of jeans you put on. That’s what whack. Think about how many of these songs you can actually take the lyrics from and read it out loud. The brothers are calling us women hose and Bi#ches. Saying how they want to sleep with us and then then go and sleep with our firends. Lets be real. If were going to stop him then we need to stop the entertainers too.
Hey Everybody!!! I went to my first board of director's meeting this weekend!!! Aren't you proud of me!?! Also, I participated in a NY State Youth & College workshop on how to establish, re-activate, and maintain a college chapter.
I promise you, by this time next year NY State will be back on the map when it comes to College chapters...
But ofcourse, we'll need your help, wisdom, and guidance when you get the chance...
My question is, do I have to keep buying it when they add the new amendments and resolutions?
