Jesus for loving me despite my faults. My mom and dad, for the same reason :) My grandma who is blind and lost my grandpa over 8 years ago and still goes on, everyday, alone - She is my hero - She's strong. My girls, who look at life with such an innocent eye. They aren't aware that "bad" exists - They are my true loves and I can't imagine my life without their smiles.
INFLUENCES: I admire Sara Evans and Faith Hill for a couple of reason's; They are obviously talanted artists, but more than that, they seem to share the same values as myself, which are God, Family and Music. Their kids are involved in every aspect of their lives, they take them everywhere and I respect that and wouldn't have it any other way myself. God is the one from who all blessings flow, my family and friends are my rock and my kids are the most important people in my life. Music is what drives me, I think about it all the time.
I grew up listening to so many different artists including, but not limited to; George Strait, Hank Williams Jr./Sr., Alan Jackson, David Allen Coe, Merle Haggard (who I adore), Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Reba, Garth Brooks, Tim Mcgraw, Chris LeDoux, Patsy Cline (I would love to record one of her songs) and Randy Travis just to name a few, I could go on forever (really!). I also had a lot of gospel influences; Bebe and Cece Winans, Commissioned and Phillips Craig and Dean. I LOVE Brain McKnight, Babyface and Boys to Men. There's not really any genre of music that I dislike. To me, its about the message of the song and the feelings and emotions that go with it. I don't like to focus on a particular genre.... That being said, I'm a country girl at heart!
Currently, I think my favorite band would have to be Rascal Flatts, they are AMAZING and hopefully one day I'll get to record with them.... :) I'd also love to record with Tim Mcgraw, Ty Herndon or Mark Wills........

I’ve been singing since I can remember. It runs in my veins. It’s the first thing I think of in the morning and the last thing I think of at night. I also write, which I love. It’s a big release for me. I’m down to earth, easy to get along with and I’m an honest and faithful friend. I don’t like fake people, life is too short. I believe that what you put out in life is exactly what you’ll get back. I’m sensitive, sometimes too sensitive.
I was born in San Diego, but I’m a country girl at heart. I spent my childhood in San Diego and Montana. So I got the best of both worlds. I don’t like camping and won’t get dirty unless there’s a shower near by, so I guess that makes me a little bit of a princess too. I over think things, always! I’m a planner. I have a good cry at least once a month.
I like driving around with my girlfriends and cranking some Hank Jr. or Merle Haggard, although being a mom has limited my driving w/ girlfriends days…..but being a mom is the best! Now I just crank Hank w/ my girls!!! I feel like my journey is just beginning. I am married to a wonderful guy and together we have 2 beautiful little girls. They are the center of my universe and I can’t wait to take them on a crazy ride with my music, get aboard girls!
I have amazing friends who support me in every way imaginable, they are the best, thanks guys! I hope I make you proud. I’ve been blessed beyond measure and I thank you for your support.

They WON! :) The Rob Carona Band will open for Kenny Chesney tomorrow night. It was a really fun evening. All the bands were good, but it became obvious that it was between two groups at the end of the night. I'm sure the judges had a tough decision. My brother is jazzed!
Yes....it's for the Kenny Chesney contest. He plays with Rob Carona. They sound pretty good during practice. But sometimes the lead guitarist trys to get all rock & roll on you. lol. It is a country contest after all. :)
