I find inspiration many places... Over the years I have become tainted by commercial radio as an industry. While pimped by the record companies, radio exsists to whore the music - not sales dollars (but you wouldn't know it on the inside). I believe if you make good radio the sales will follow. Native Noise has a firm stance concerning "client competition" No one will be favored. As an Air Talent, I want to provide something that leaves an impact.
My interest in Local musicians stems from my own high school days of going to Dallas and Austin to watch bands like Hagfish, Tripping Daisy, The Toadies, Tabula Rasa, and Drowning Pool play in dingey little clubs we weren't old enough to be in! The fact that I still pick those tapes up and listen to then over 12 years later is why I do this. You never know who's gonna be that same 16 yr old kid in your audience

Native Noise is open to all genres. While predominatley Hard Rock, bands include Punk, Ska, Metal, Alternative, Cover...even hippity-hop.
