Dj Natron aka Laugi hails from the Northeast of Germany, has been born in November of 1983, and has been living in Hamburg since 2001. Pystrance began enticing him in 1999. Loving the laughing people on the floor and the music which put them into meditation he also started to dj in 2002 and went from organising his first small open air in 2004 to organising the Intact xpanda in Hamburg every Winter and the Psychedelic Experience Open Air every May as well. His contribution to the quest for the original Psytrance sound was founding his own label Solar Tech Records in March of 2009. Its motto already says it all: Serious Psytrance. Thru many ups and downs, thankful for the support of his family and friends Dj Natron keeps playing music in between Progressive and FullOn, at 140-145 bpm - deep high quality on the dot with a progressive touch, pumping baselines intended to let people fly. Preferably at sunset or dawn he has had sets at all larger European festivals. The first compilations of Solar Tech were teeming with rolling, deep basses, mind-bending sound figures and hypnotic melodies. Pushing but still relaxed this music is definitely aiming at the mind! In the future international djs from all continents will present their visions of original Psytrance music here.True to the motto, the first two compilations were teeming with sunbathed tracks which directly aim at the dance floor with their strong, clear bass lines and friendly melodies. Everything in a pushing groove but still at relaxed tempo. And lovers of this nowadays unfortunately seldom genre may remain excited.At the end of the first decade of the new millennium the influence of contemporary club music on the Psy Trance scene is omnipresent: More and more producers from all the different corners of this style take up elements from Minimal and Techno. Others turn to very poppy melodies which unfortunately has a negative impact on the psychedelic deepness of the music. In this situation Solar Tech Records very consciously defines itself as an innovative platform for classical Psy Trance sounds in 2008. Without peering at recent trends, label founder DJ Natron is engaged in keeping up and promoting the original idea of this music. The result is driving dance music with a proper dose of thrill and piles of deep and psychedelic moments but without getting poppy, kitschy or hectic at any time. Laugi aka Natron gathered lots of experience not only as a long-year DJ but also as promoter of the popular Hamburg-based party series "Intact Expanda" and therefore developed a sophisticated feeling for the vibe of the scene. Solar Tech's sound refers to new generation of artists that unites its local influences of the Trance hot spots South Africa, the UK, South America and Hamburg to an ever exciting and refreshing new mixture: Pushing dance music which makes your feet dancing and your mind floating in the club as well as on a sunlit dance floor of an open air festival! -
