*EL NATTY COMBO is an Argentine reggae-root group band led by SERGIO COLOMBO, a saxophonist with a wide experience in the musical scene of the roots in Argentina. In 1996 he joined Los Cafres, with whom he worked for more than four years recording two albums: “Suena la alarma” (The Alarm Goes Off) and “Espejitos” (Little Mirrors), apart from writing the wind arrangements for the latter. At that same time, he starts playing with Abed Nego with whom he records the album “Reggae classic en español -Vol.1.” He also played with Jamaican trombonist, Rico Rodríguez, the undoubtedly best reggae trombonist of all times, with whom he recorded the album “Togetherness” (alive in Argentina). In 2002 he joins Mimi Maura; starts playing and records “Raíces de pasión” (Roots of Passion), “Noches de pasión” (Passionate Nights), “Frenesí” (Frenzy), and “63-68-74.” In 2001 Dancing Mood is formed and Sergio participates initially in the recording of the first three albums of the band: “20 minutos” (20 Minutes), “Volumen 2” (Volume 2), and “Dancing Groove.” He also recorded with group bands such as Attaque 77, 2 minutos, Kapanga, Palo Pandolfo, Callejeros, La Mocosa, Satelite Kingston, Mensajeros, Alika, Riddim, La Celestina (a Mexican band), and participated as a feature musician in shows of Molotov and Antidoping (both Mexican bands), among others. Finally, he makes up his mind and records a solo album and forms a group band to record and play this stuff. Thus, NATTY COMBO is born in 2003 with their first album called “SERGIO COLOMBO PRESENTA…” (Sergio Colombo presents…). His second work “SONIDO REAL” (Real Sound) has meant the consolidation of the band, with a stunning sound that combines the best of the roots of the Jamaican reggae golden years in the 70’s, and the innovation and experimentation of a more futuristic style –a gem for the lovers of good reggae, and good music regardless of its style.
In 2006, they recorded “SUPER DUBWISE”, a selection from their two first albums in dub versions which includes the non-released song “Five”. In 2007, EL NATTY COMBO released their fourth album “Impulse” with more of sung songs and a fascinating rhythmical power. In 2008, EL NATTY COMBO released their fifth album with the peculiarity that most songs are sung and that they feature ALIKA in one of them. This way, EL NATTY COMBO continues climbing while keeping and consolidating its style and superb musical quality, which is so typical of the band…

EL NATTY COMBO formación de reggae roots Argentina liderada por SERGIO COLOMBO
saxofonista de una amplia trayectoria en la escena musical del roots argentino. En 1996 se incorporó a Los Cafres, con los que trabajó durante más de 4 años llegando a grabar 2 discos "Suena la alarma" y "Espejitos", además de escribir en este último los arreglos de la sección de vientos.
Paralelamente comienza a tocar con Abed Nego con quien graba el disco "Reggae classic en español - Vol. 1".
También tocó con el trombonista jamaiquino, Rico Rodríguez, sin duda el mejor trombonista de reggae de todos los tiempos, con quien grabó el disco Togetherness (en vivo en Argentina).
En el 2000 se incorpora a Mimi Maura; comienza a tocar y graba "Raíces de pasión", "Noches de pasión", "Frenesí" y "63-68-74".
En el 2001 se forma "Dancing Mood" y Sergio participa inicialmente del proyecto grabando los tres primeros discos de la banda "20 minutos", "Volumen 2" y "Dancing Groove".
También grabó discos con Attaque 77, 2 minutos, Kapanga, Palo Pandolfo, Callejeros, La Mocosa, Satelite Kingston, Mensajeros, Alika, Riddim, La Celestina (banda de México) y participó como invitado en shows de Molotov y Antidoping (ambos grupos mexicanos), entre otros.
Finalmente se decide a grabar un disco solista y armar una banda para grabar y tocar ese material. Así nació el EL NATTY COMBO en el 2003 con su primer disco titulado "SERGIO COLOMBO PRESENTA....."
Su segundo trabajo "SONIDO REAL" ha supuesto la consolidación de la banda, con un sonido contundente que aúna lo mejor del roots de los años dorados del reggae jamaicano de los 70' con la innovación y experimentación de corte futurista, toda una delicia para los amantes del buen REGGAE y de la buena música sea cual sea el estilo en que se encuadre. En el 2006 donde grabó "SUPER DUBWISE" una selección de los dos primeros discos en versiones dub donde incluye un tema inédito "Cinco"
En el 2007 EL NATTY COMBO presentó su cuarto disco "IMPULSO" con mas temas cantados y una potencia rítmica fascinante !!!!
En el 2008 EL NATTY COMBO lanzó su quinto disco con la particularidad de tener casi todos los temas cantados y la participación de ALIKA en uno de ellos. De esta manera EL NATTY COMBO continua su escalada manteniendo y afianzando el estilo y la excelente calidad musical que caracteriza a esta gran banda...
