Natty Cool is a roots rock reggae outfit consisting of up to 12 musicians when fully complete, founded and based in Lyon, France.
The foundations of the group were set in 2007 with drums, bass, guitars and vocals. Since then, however, with the arrival of additional vocalists and the even more recent addition of a live horns section, the Natty Cool family has now discovered it's complete and desired line-up in 2009.
Natty Cool features a mix of origins. With group members originally coming from England, France, Martinique, Portugal, Reunion Island, and Togo the band shares a wealth of influences and backgrounds.
Through this shared passion for music (and of different varieties of reggae music in particular), the Natty Cool style is found. The sound created would be described as roots reggae, blended with elements of rock, dub and seggae, and with a touch of jazz and soul.
With many new compositions in the pipeline, Natty Cool are preparing their debut album. Live shows are underway, and the band continues to look for dates and a possible tour manager...

Le noyau du groupe, batterie, basse, guitares et vocaux s'est formé en 2007 .
Depuis l'arrivée de choristes et plus récemment d'une section cuivres, la famille Natty Cool s'est completée en 2009 et a maintenant trouvé la formule qu'elle recherchait .
Natty Cool est le mélange de plusieurs origines. Grâce à ses membres venus d'Angleterre, France, Ile de la Martinique, Portugal, Ile de la Réunion, et Togo, le groupe s'enrichit d'influences et de parcours différents.
À travers cette passion partagée pour la musique (et plus particulièrement dans différents genres de reggae), le style Natty Cool s'est trouvé.
Leur son pourrait être décrit comme du roots reggae incorporant d'autres sons venus du rock, dub, seggae, avec une touche de jazz et soul.
Avec de nombreuses compositions en préparation, Natty Cool travaille sur son premier album. Les concerts ont deja commencé et le groupe continue de chercher des dates et un tourneur.
