   About Natural Causes
An evening with Natural Causes relaxes and uplifts. Three different lead-singers, four-part vocal harmonies, a lead trumpet and a rhythm guitar, a French-horn playing drummer, the evocative sound of the fender Rhodes and the occasional quack of the melodica. Ambient grooves and unexpected textures wraparound songs with loving care..... Available in both completely acoustic and electric formats..... So far played at ‘In The Flesh’ Festival (Plymouth) and Lancaster Jazz Festival, The Blue Walnut Cinema, Coombeshead College, The Nuffield Theatre, Bar 120 and a series of intimate gigs in the UK (autumn 2007)..... Developing projects with Faulty Optic (films and animations), Jackie Kay (writing) with Ezuko Hall (Japan) and over the internet..... Individually members have appeared at Larmertree Festival, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Solfest, Glastonbury Festival, Sheffstock, Krakow Festival (Poland), Black Mountain Folk Festival (North Carolina, USA), Whaletone Opera (Japan), Edinburgh Festival and WOMAD..... Subliminal folk music..... Disperse geographic relations necessitating creative internet collaborations..... Playing a tour in Japan in January 2009..... Playing with songs. Pop songs, folk songs, jazz songs, alternative songs, ambient songs…
