A native of Queens, New York, Nedjetti a celebrity hair artist and owner of Hair by Nedjetti Salon based in Bloomfield, NJ (973.748.0181) has been a natural hair care specialist for sixteen years, and a natural hair educator for four years. Inspired by a maternal grandmother who was also a cosmetologist and a paternal granddad who worked as a barber, Nedjetti began styling hair at the tender age of seven, with the teaching and encouragement of her mother Shirley Harvey.
In 2004, Nedjetti held the honor of guest speaker at the Toronto Naturals Hair and Beauty 2nd Annual Show on natural hair. The hundreds in attendance were captivated as Nedjetti shared her expert advice on care and maintenance for natural hair and locs, as well as recommendations for hair products.
