About me:
I am a Naturopath and Psychotherapist, with a special interest in how the chemicals we are exposed to change us, physically and mentally.
Every day most of us are exposed to more than 200 artificial chemicals via our food, drink, air and the products we put on ourselves, most of which were not even invented 30 years ago. Our bodies are under a toxic onslought never before seen and it is no wonder that chronic diseases, cancers and mental disturbances are rapidly increasing.
Each of us needs to make choices that suit our personal beliefs and lifestyle but in order to make choices it is essential to have options.
Making your own skin care products is a valid way to rapidly reduce close contact with artificial chemicals.
The ingredients in most products like moisturisers are industrial by-products, most of which are known to be harmful but it is easy to make your own quality products.
The Naturally Better Skin Care book series removes the mystery and makes it easy for anyone to make quality skin care products at home, using all natural ingredients. It is possible to make creams, lotions and cleansers with the look, feel and smell of the best commercial products but with nothing artificial added.
