My name is the "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel and this is my OFFICIAL MySpace Page. I began my pro wrestling career in 1979 working for the ICW and around the Tennessee area promotions. In 1985 I started working at the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions where I joined manager James J. Dillon. Me and Rick Flair worked a match in July 1985 at the Dorton Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina that broke Elvis Presley's attendance record, as well, in 1986 back in the Tennessee area in the Mid-South Coliseum I broke the record with Bill Dunee, Dutch Mantell, and Jerry Lawler-and we where the last sold out show ever at the Coliseum. I worked more NWA shows and in Smoky Mountain Wrestling in 1994 and 1995. I had a short run through the WWF in 1995 and shortly into 1996 where I wrestled Bret Hart for the WWF Title match in January of 1996. I work a few single shot matches for the WWF through out the rest of the 90's with a brief appearance in WCW and was the first person to wrestle Bill Goldberg in June 1997. Since then I have been still working independant shows. I am known for my Figure Four Leglock and my corkcrew elbow drop that was later adapted by The Rock.
