Traveling, anything that has to do with water -rain, water sports and/or chilling on the beach with a nice ice cold Miami Vice in my hand! LOL(I have been a lifeguard since I was 14 and taught swimming in college), reading (any and everything I can get my hands on), Bodywork & Skincare, dancing, listening to old skool hip hop, tribal/acid/old school house & I Love mah Soca!! Can ya whine ya waist????
Music
I currently have the following in heavy CD rotation: Jill Scott Collaborations, Goaplee (both CD's), Damian & Stephen Marley & their Daddy Bob, Amy Winehouse, John Legend, Guy, & Jay-Z, Incognito, Nancy Wilson, Byron Lee & the Dragonaires, Rick James, Pru, Santessa, The Best of the Police & Sting, Lenny Kravitz. I could go on forever :-) I like all types of music except for Country and Heavy Metal. Give me a nice beat that I can vibe to and I'm so there.
Movies
With two little ones I don't get out to the movies much but the last few that I've seen are: Wedding Crashers, High School Musical (I know sad but I have an 8 yr old LOL), Devil Wears Prada, Wanted, it's sad but I can't say that I've seen too many lately. Gesh, I need a life. But I do like Action, Comedy and Suspense/Dramatic movies.
Television
I am a Law & Order fan. I love all of them SVU, L&O & CI. Anything that is on TruTV and Fine Living. Was a huge King of Queens fan hated to see it end.
Books
Temple of My Familiar is my all time favorite book. It's actually a continuation of the Color Purple. I try to read novels by authors who are of color. I am currently reading - Thai Yoga Massage, Kama Sutra, and trying to get into The Known World. I also enjoy any thing by Jackie Collins. Oh yeah I'm also reading books on being a small business owner and how to write business plans. I read anything I can get my hands on from business to romance novels.
Heroes
My mother for being the best single mother out there, I used to be a single mother and know how hard it can be on your mind and soul. So my mother and other Single mothers are my Sheros. So are my best friends for doing their dayum thing in 07 and starting their own companies (Drea, Love, & Monica ya'll are da bomb!!
The ultimate Hero or Shero in my book is someone who isn't afraid to take risks, step out on faith, go against the norm and know how to just Be enjoying who they are. A lot of people strive for that level but many fall short of obtaining that level.

Ok here is a little bit about me. I am a Bahamian American who LOVES her dual roots. Shout outs to Freeport!!! I am a mother of two future AKA's (Elnora Yazmine 8 yrs old & Elon Ky-mani 8 months old). They are my pride and joy and give me reasons over and over again to strive to be the very best I can be.
I did not join to "hook" up with anyone however, I would like to network and met like minds. I've heard that this can be very addicting UGH!! But so far so good. :o)
I am a graduate of South Carolina State University. Shout out to all my BullDawg Alumni. I love the South.
I am currently in Delaware and I own a Holistic Mobile Day Spa called 7Chakras Spa Lounge(the meaning - 7 is my favorite number & there are seven Chakras on the body). I would love to eventually include a Herbalogist and Yoga Master. I have my license in Massage and am licensed in Delaware and in PA for Skin Care. I swear I have slept on my calling for a long time. I've done everything from Event Management, Collections, Public Relations for Professional Sports Teams (Philly & Atlanta) and Project Management. I've been doing massage since 02 professionally but as an amateur all my life. I am certified in Thai Yoga Massage (thank yous to my Teacher/Spiritual guider Micheal Buck - Much Respect) I've been told that I channel my great grandmother's healing touch when I give massages. I actually can feel people's energy when I massage them (I have my Reiki Level I) and most say that when my hands touch an area where they need the most attention they can feel the heat radiating from my hands. Those who knew my great grand mother (I never met her) say that I have her touch. I truly believe that I have a gift and I am just doing what the Creator has placed me on this planet to do. Along with working towards opening 7Chakras I am also pursuing a healthier more aware lifestyle. I've been studying Ayurvedic Medicine. I love Ayurveda's philosophy which aims to integrate and balance the body, mind, and spirit (thus, some view it as "holistic"). This balance is believed to lead to contentment and health, and to help prevent illness/Dis-ease. So I'm meditating by means of Tratak Light meditation which is an AWESOME way to meditate (if you have any questions feel free to contact me). I'm also trying to eat healthier (no Pork, Red Meat, Fried Foods & fast food, eating more fresh fruit and drinking a lot more water). I totally believe that when your body is in harmony your mind and soul will follow to create harmony and peace. My goal is to have a Zen-like quality of life HOWEVER, it is truly a test and an ongoing journey. Please keep a sistah in prayer because there are times when situations in life have me thinking unZen-like thoughts :-)

Who I'd like to meet: There are so many people. I've LOVE to meet my Great Grandmother Mrs. Carrie Hall (aka Ma Carrie) as I've been told that her healing touch has been channeled through me. Hey if they say you got the "Gift" you gotta use it :-) I would just sit at her feet and absorb her essence. Another person I'd like to meet is Siddhartha Gautama. He was such a peaceful cat. I'd love to just bask in his purity and wisdom. Bob Marley - love his vibe. Would love to just talk to him and maybe partake in the sharing of the Herb with him :-) Ok for those who are still around I'd like to meet the following: Jill Scott, Common, Alice Walker,Oprah, Bill Gates, Donald Trump. And just about anyone who has a positive vibe.
