About me:

I was born in Berea, OH and lived there until joining the US Army in 1977. After I got out of the Army I was hired as a police officer by the Alexandria VA Police Dept. Had knee surgery twice so I had to resign as an officer and now work as basicaly the computer help desk for our 911 center while managing numerous systems. I am a happily married man with 3 grown children. I am proud of all of them (as well as my son in law). My wife is my best friend and soul mate. I can't imagine life without her. I enjoy all things nature. Started with bird watching (a disease with no known cure and gets progressively worse with age)Like to take nature walks looking for herps (snakes and such) and other interesting wildlife. Have managed to infect my family with the same passion for nature. Enjoy museums and historical places too. Love Anime. I am an avid Cleveland sports fan. Also The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Who I'd like to meet:

Would like to have met Jaques Cousteau, John Denver and Steve Irwin. They all shaped the way I feel about the earth and its inhabitants and in their own ways left indelible marks on the planet. They are all missed. Of living people, John Acorn and Jackie Chan.
