Daybreak was a silly grind/thrash/powerviolence band from Baltimore Maryland. We existed from roughly 1997 to almost 2000 or so. In that time we released three records. The first was a 20 song picture disc seven inch on Reptilian Records The next was a split single with The ULTIMATE WARRIORS on Robodog records and the final a split 12 inch with California’s GODSTOMPER on at a loss recordings. We played as much as possible in that time period mostly with our friends PIG DESTROYER (still around still amazing) and PG.99 (no longer around) The band ended amid some pissed off feelings and strong words.
In the good news department: everyone is friends again and everyone is doing pretty cool stuff. Chris Camden who started as our drummer and moved on to be guitarist and my roommate for a time is in BROTHERS and owns and operates ULTRASOUND RECORDING. ERIC FAUVER was the original guy that hung around and then our drummer. he also did time in LIARS ACADEMY towards the end and is currently in THE FISHNET STALKERS. Keeve is married and has some crazy degree, makes three dollars and hour and home records electronic music. Blake our guitar player for all recordings hung up the six string and sang for TRIAC on reptilian records. He eventually joined PIG DESTROYER. I went on to play in NEVER ENOUGH for a few years and now play in DEEP SLEEP. All of these bands and labels have myspace pages so until I add links search them out and say hello to us that way since responding to people through this page is going to be a bit slow. I will however be updating some photos and fliers soon so check back.
remember the Sound Exchange in Ellicott City and the day the fat shirtless shitface met the ringed fist of Daybreak? The street was awash in the blood of the ignorant.
I have to say I think this might be a really bad Idea, as Josh mentioned who really cares about our old bands, but then who cares about even current bands Josh has put out? haha BA-ZING, anyways now that it's up maybe I'll add some fliers and show crap I have lying around. I will say if anyone has the clips that were on the robodog page way back in the day it would be sweet to see them you-tubed or whatever.....
that diminuitive little bass fellow - i think he's the jew in the band. He plays a mean mutherf@..$kkin bass...but i think he is too apoplectic to shave.
