Stay close and get to know Navery, an R&B singer/songwriter with a vibe that is cool, smooth, sultry, and soulful. Born and raised in Chicago and the only child of Cambodian immigrants, Navery sought refuge by singing along to the voices of Whitney, Mariah, En Vogue, and Mary J. Blige and would fall down the proverbial rabbit hole into a world where music was everything.
Navery now stands at the precipice of the next phase in her life – the one in which every preparation, each accomplishment, and all of her studies are thrown out the window in order for her to embrace the impractical, blissfully whimsical and soul-satisfying world of music. In both her upcoming debut album, entitled “Stay Close” and a story-telling EP, Navery will demonstrate what she has believed about music for so long – “good music is anything that you can get into” and you will get into this.
