a giant pile of shit molesting a retarded ghost...or ...... "Naw Dude - "Golf Pro EP"- Everything about this record is weird. Odd band name? Check. Two Sides? Nope, just one has grooves. Photocopied cover? NO. Pocket sleeve cover? No. Silk-screened side of a Lone Star 12-pack box featuring a two headed sketeton at an altar looking down upon the sacrifice of a baby done in the colors purple and sea green? Check. Musically, i was expecting wacky thrash and song titles the caliber of "bong-mitzvah" but instead it was brutal HC that reminded me of PAINTBOX mixed with some of the more recent Austin, Tx HC bands (note: NAW DUDE features the ex vocalist of ARMY OF JESUS) Relentless and pulverizing, but a certain quirky element that gives it the PAINTBOX feeling.
