Introduced to one another in early 2008 at a last minute gig for Philly-NYC emcee Nyle, drummer Isaac "Funknasty" Teel and bassist Mitch Friedman quickly developed a strong musical bond many have compared to ?uestlove and Pino Palladino on crack. The duo quickly began backing up several other NYC artists, making a name for themselves. In late 2008, the two decided to co-produce Nyle's next album and become Nyle's full-time rhythm section both on the road and in the studio. However, the puzzle was far from complete. After several weeks of experimenting and try-outs, it was the sound of fellow SinSin-er Dan "D. Sig" Mensch's sexy keyboard chops that landed him as the third member of the team. You can catch the band on the road with Nyle in a city near you, promoting their new album, the CAPSTONE EP, or in NYC with hip-hoppers Vamoose, neo-soul sensation Duv, and the eclectically talented Symphonics Live, where they serve as the house band. And how could we forget SinSin's freestyle hip-hop Mondays!
